This is the number of journeys that will be made during the Spring Festival peak travel period in 2009, according to the National Development and Reform Commission. There will be about 188 million rail journeys, 2 billion road trips and 24 million flights throughout China during this Spring Festival period from 25th – 31st January 2009.
